Corriedale Crescent is one acre residential property purchased by a young family who recently emigrated from England. Although run down, the site was chosen for its somewhat wild qualities which offered the family a different way of living. Stutterheim / Anderson has approached the steepness of the terrain and scale of the block as a means of a blurring the familiar and the new through path and pause. The potential for the Garden to be developed as self-sustaining, with a low environmental footprint, has been an important consideration throughout.
