Charles Anderson with Tim Schork and Gideon Obarzanek
Bodily Algorithms was a performative design workshop with Gideon Obarzanek, Tim Schork & Charles Anderson.
This workshop explored and experimented with rule based systems and dynamic interactive modes of modeling for generating spatial propositions.
Working with simple rule sets, everyday objects and their bodies, participants devised a series of improvised performances through which unpredictable behaviours and organisational structures were seen to emerge.
This workshop was part of a design studio conducted between RMIT School of Architecture & Design and Monash School of Architecture. Entitled Punto in Aria, this studio was an initial testing ground for an ongoing collaborative project of the same name, between Charles Anderson, Tim Schork and Gideon Obarzanek.
Look out for a forthcoming Publication and Performance worl in 2012.
